Valley Health Plan covers you for Acupuncture and Chiropractic Services when your Primary Care Physician (PCP) prescribes it as medically necessary. Your PCP must process a referral before you receive services. Once approved by VHP, you will receive a copy of the authorization so you can receive the authorized visits with a VHP Network Acupuncturist or Chiropractor. If you seek services without a referral from your PCP or seek services at a non-VHP provider, you may be responsible for all charges.
Coverage is limited to a maximum of twenty (20) visits per Calendar Year. You will be asked to pay a $10.00 co-payment at the time of each visit.
