SELLING COVERED CALIFORNIA PLANS
As a broker, you can help your clients find the right coverage for their needs. However, you must become a certified Covered California agent by completing an online training and applying for individual sales and the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP). Please note that VHP does not offer SHOP at this time.
Once you are certified, you can enroll your clients in one of the Covered California Plans that will protect them and their family, while helping qualify for available financial assistance. Visit www.coveredca.com for more information on how to get certified through Covered California.
SELLING VHP INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY PLANS
Valley Health Plan now offers mirrored Individual & Family Plans to the residents of Santa Clara County. The application process is convenient and does not require documentation other than proof of residency within the county.
