Tabata training is one of the most popular forms of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). It consists of eight rounds of high-intensity exercises in 20-seconds on, 10-seconds rest intervals. Through a variety of simple, yet intense exercises, each class will burn calories and provide noticeable results in a short amount of time. Whether your goal is muscle tone, improved cardiovascular fitness, weight loss or increased strength, this class may provide what you are looking for. Modifications will be offered to accommodate various fitness levels. You will need a set of dumbbells or other weighted objects (soup cans, water bottles, books, etc).
