Mail Order Pharmacy Prescription Drug Program

VHP has contracted with Costco Pharmacy as the vendor for our Mail-Order Prescription Drug Program. A Costco Membership is not required to use the Costco Pharmacy. Your prescription drug coverage will still be managed by Navitus, VHP’s pharmacy benefit manager.

We understand that change is not always easy or convenient. However, we believe this will be a positive change for our members.

Costco Pharmacy offers key benefits:

  • ​Online Access with convenient 24/7 access to refills and status check at www.pharmacy.costco.com or the automated phone system at 800-607-6861.
  • Customer Service hours are Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. PST and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST.

​What this means to you

You must register and create an account with Costco Pharmacy before filling a prescription, even if you are currently using your mail order benefit. You will also need to ask your prescriber to submit new prescriptions for all of your medications to Costco Pharmacy.

How do I register with Costco Pharmacy?

To register online, visit www.pharmacy.costco.com and click “Sign In/Register.” Select “Create Account.” Enter your email address and password and follow the instructions.

How do I renew or start a new prescription?

Prescriptions should include: 

  • Member name
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number
  • Shipping address

Costco Pharmacy offers the following three delivery service options for prescription orders:

  • Standard USPS - Free
  • 3 Day UPS - $10.95
  • 2 Day UPS - $13.95
