Health Plan - Transparency and Coverage

In November 2020, the Departments of Labor (DOL), Health and Human Services (HHS), and Treasury  issued final regulations to implement an Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirement intended to provide greater price transparency for group health plan participants and beneficiaries. Under the Departments' November 2020 final regulations on health plan cost transparency, group health plans and health insurers must disclose cost-related information to the public in machine-readable files that are updated each month.
