How VHP's Networks Work

Valley Health Plan (VHP) contracts with multiple Medical Groups, Independent Physician Associations (IPA), Community Clinics, and Independent Providers to provide high-quality care to our Members. Our four product lines are Employer Group - Classic,  Employer Group - Preferred, Covered California, and Individual and Family (IFP). Different Provider Networks have been created specifically for each product line. When a Member chooses their Primary Care Provider (PCP), they are assigned to the Network to which their PCP belongs, and primary and specialty care is provided within that Network when possible.

Employer Group - Classic Plan

VHP offers many provider choices for you and your family. Additional Medical Groups have been added to the VHP Network giving you even more choices on locations and how you will access your health care from Primary Care to Specialty Care and Network locations for other services.
